Ibanez Joe Satriani Black Dog Tribute Guitar

It looks like all the releases that have been announced in the past few days are all signature guitars but the one released by Ibanez is also a very limited edition model and it has been called Ibanez Joe Satriani Black Dog Tribute Guitar. The guitar is a component-by-component reproduction of the axe used by Satriani in the late 80’s and first 90’s made by luthiers and graphic designers.

The Ibanez Joe Satriani Black Dog Tribute Guitar features basswood body, maple neck, JS profile, rosewood fingerboard, 22 6105-size frets, 25.5″ scale length, Ibanez Original Edge bridge, 1 DiMarzio PAF Pro (neck) and 1 DiMarzio Fred (bridge) humbucker pickups, 3-way pickup switch and volume and tone controls.

This model’s production run will be only 100 units (60 of them will go to the US stores) and comes with the original design of Satriani guitar, a hardshell case, Surfing with the alien signed CD and Planet waves strap and picks. The Ibanez Joe Satriani Black Dog Tribute Guitar not will be only difficult to find it will be also difficult to pay because its list price is $8,000.
